Fete Essentials

Welcome Back!!

Trinidad and Tobago Carnival, dubbed ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ is literally one week away.

It’s the culmination of 2 to 3 months of non-stop festivities with two days of spectacular revelry. None other compares to it! We enjoy some of the best parties/fetes during the months leading up to carnival Monday and Tuesday, which falls on the 27th and 28th of February this year.

Regardless of which fete you chose to go, how big your crew is, wearing team colours or not, foam or wet fete? Having the right gears is crucial to any party-goer. With that in mind, we want to share with you a few GT Girlz fete essentials.

  1. Short shorts- it the most comfortable thing to wear to a fete, you can wine down low jump up high and look sexy while doing it….
  1. Bralette- sexy on its own but the best thing to wear under all your deep V’s, chiffon and loose vest tops.
  1. No one wants to be that friend who needs to sit down, go home or be barer feet because of improper foot wear, so keep it comfee that way you will be going all fete long…
  1. For the water, paint and foam party, we all still need to capture the moment for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and all other social media networks, water proof phone is a must, you can capture all your memorable moments while keeping your phone and other valuables safe and secure…
  1. The body glow you just need it, radiant skin is always in, and when you are showing a lot of it. It’s best that you look like you have that glow from within.
  2. & 7. Water proof mascara, can’t live without it, your makeup need to last through out the fete and no one want mascara running down their face half way through the fete. So you must prep and prime to make sure you have smudge proof makeup all night long.
  1. Hair ties to pull up your hair when it time to jump and wave and the place gets hot. They are also handy to tie up your tops and a friend just might ask you for one…

Long lasting lipstick is a must….need I say more.

And when it’s all said and done, make sure and pack a change of clothing to get home. Car seat will stay clean and dry and you don’t have to make that walk of shame getting home day clean, and everyone wondering what you have been last night…
